Daydreams 1 since 1989 10/31/2014
By Laura
I used these exercises in my doctoral dissertation for my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. In 1989, I was working with sudden cardiac death victims receiving implantable defibrillators - similar to the kind former Vice President Cheney has now. The defibrillators were brand new and these patients were very anxious, understandably. One patient had been coded 13 times! This tape (no CD's or MP3's back then) reduced their anxiety levels significantly. I still use it with patients - it's a classic. Short, simple - who doesn't have 7 minutes or so to relax? It's been my go-to tape for 25 years. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Dr. Laura (the nice one)
